Eco X-Capade & Eco X-Sprint | 17 April 2005 @ Gopeng, Perak

Newsletter One: 15 March 2005

Dear Competitors, Volunteers and Friends,

We are pleased to announce the venue for the upcoming Eco X-Capade and Eco X-Sprint which will be held Sunday, 17th April 2005. The race will be held in Gopeng, Perak which is only 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur.

As mentioned previously, Gopeng is the site where Nomad Adventure has been running our popular whitewater rafting and caving trips, so be prepared for some spectacular caving and water elements! We are also building a small adventure centre at the venue, and the new facilities will be featured as part of the race. The race course will be challenging, varied and packed full of excitement.

We are back to the tried and tested 6 - 8 hour long Eco X-Capade race, with three-person teams. For non-competitive individuals, the Eco X-Sprint will be the parallel and shorter race for you. If you have any questions, do drop us an email.

We are open for entries now! For competitors who register early, we are offering an early bird discount of 10%. Nomad Adventure Privilege Members get an additional 10% discount. Entry forms available here. Send 'em in early please!

Train hard and eat your power bars!

Chan Yuen-Li
