Mhd Azrol Rizwan Zabri
Senior Manager
Jay joined us in March 2014 and is known for his dedication to service and passion for outdoor education. He finds fulfillment in helping others learn and grow in nature, and believes every camp should offer exceptional service and memorable experiences, just as we do at Nomad.
A native of Bidor, Perak, and a graduate of St. Michael’s Institution in Ipoh, Jay initially studied to be a chef but was drawn to the outdoor industry by his love of nature. A proud father of three, he is also a certified Rescue 3 instructor for Water and Rope and a Wilderness First Aid instructor.
Jay’s most memorable adventure was the 25-day Classics journey in Hong Kong, which included sailing, kayaking, hiking, and rope activities. He dreams of exploring New Zealand’s mountains, rivers, and rich culture as his next great outdoor adventure.
Outside of work, Jay has embraced inline skating and is a budding musician, teaching himself the ukulele and flute. His friends describe him as task-focused, well-connected with both people and nature, and calm.
With his love for adventure, dedication to service, and calm demeanor, Jay ensures every camper’s experience is filled with unforgettable moments and meaningful connections.
