Reserving Your Trip
Phone or email inquiries are only considered a soft booking until payment has been made. The soft bookings will be held 7-10 working days from the last date of contact, therefore, if there’s no reply the booking date will be released automatically.
Once you have a date and an approximate number of participants, we advise you to make payment as soon as possible to ensure that you will be able to book your date of choice.
We require full payment in order to confirm your trip. However, if you have difficulty making a full payment, we will need at least 50% of the total to confirm your trip, and the remaining balance will need to be transferred latest by 12 PM, one working day before your trip.
After your booking is confirmed we will provide you with a packing list of useful items you should bring, together with a route map that describes how to get to our facilities. Lastly, we will also provide you with an indemnity form to fill out before you start the activities.
When your activities are all over, we will tell you when and where to view the photos we took of your trip. Furthermore, we will provide you with a feedback form so you can tell us about your experience with Nomad Adventure.
For cancellations 7 days or more prior to the trip date – 50% fees payable
Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the trip date – 100% fees payable
Postponement 7 days or more prior to the trip date – 10% fees payable
Postponement less than 7 days prior to the trip date – 30% fees payable
No refund on last-minute dropout OR no show on the date of the program
Refunds of various values may be granted on a case by case basis on compassionate grounds, for example, a family tragedy.
Personal Accident Insurance
All outdoor activities involve risks and while we do our best to minimise those risks, accidents may still occur. Personal accident insurance may be purchased by clients prior to the trip for an additional RM 16 per pax. This insurance covers accidental injury that may occur during your trip. Please let us know if you would like to purchase this insurance, payment must be made a minimum of one working day in advance of the trip to allow for this purchase.
Weather insurance may be purchased at the time of your booking. This will guarantee a full refund in any activity if the trip is canceled by the trip leader due to excessive bad weather.
Weather insurance can be purchased at a cost of RM 15 per pax.
Alcohol and Drug Policy
Participating in outdoor activities involves inherent risks and can be physically demanding. Alcohol, illegal drugs, and many legal drugs can affect your abilities, they are not allowed on or immediately prior to activities. We will remove from the trip or tour anyone under the influence and no refund will be made.
All participants are required to sign a standard acknowledgement form before each trip, acknowledging awareness and acceptance of some risks associated with the trip. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian co-sign.
Trip or Tour Changes
Reasonable changes in trips and tours may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the participants, including cancellation due to water fluctuation, high winds and other factors.
Nomad Adventure sends out occasional mail on area or activity specific news that we think you’ll want to hear about, but you can count on us NEVER to sell or share your email or mailing address with any third party. Additionally, all address, personal and financial information is strictly protected.
