About Me – IKA

Meet Syafiqah, affectionately known as Ika, who has been with Nomad Adventure since January 2019. Starting as an intern, she now serves as the Program Coordinator. Her love for the outdoors and passion for adventure make her an essential part of the team.

Ika thrives in the natural world, enjoying new challenges and the energy of kids at camp. One of her favorite traditions is playing big games with the campers, where the excitement of 100 kids creates a fun, lively atmosphere.

Her most unforgettable adventure was rafting on the Asahan River, a high-adrenaline five-day training that included rafting, tackling rapids, and canyoning. If she could go anywhere, Ika would head to Iceland for ice caving and glacier hiking.

Despite her upbeat, adventurous nature, Ika has a surprisingly emotional side. She’s moved by a good book, a touching song, or the heartfelt goodbyes when kids leave camp.

Described as loud, energetic, and organized, Ika brings enthusiasm and a vibrant spirit to everything she does, inspiring those around her with her dynamic energy and leadership.
